I've never been one to sit and write about my experiences, but I figure now is the time to record ALL my experiences! And trust me, there have been alot. In this blog, I will speak on my daily experiences, dealling with people, metal challenges and how to deflect them and just dealing people in general because people drive your business!
Today started off a little challenging. I actually woke up feeling good, feeling great. Talk to one of my good friends to give her some suggestions on the product I'm selling and she told e aout a referral! All is good right?!? Hmmm...so I go online to pay some bills and came across my phone bill and it reminded me of what my younger brother said to me. He said he would purchase a new phone for me for a belated b--day present. So I hit him up all to tell me that he will pay his portion of the billl, but that he's not "fucking with me anymore." not to go into detail about the situation, but we spit words and now we are no longer on speaking terms. Now this did get me down....ALOT! I actually started to tear up and then I said to myself, "SELF, " myself said, "HUH" I said, "YOU are NOT going to cry right now, YOU are going to take this setback and make it a comeback!" Now if I were to get down about this situation, that happened after bstarting off with a good day, I would be a total wreck, and it would be a constant "woe is me" pity party!!!! Now what I have learned about being an entrepreneur is that you will have good days and bad. Ups and downs, Lows and highs. All the same right?!? So I decided to go to Crossfit, get some lunch and continue to build my business!!! Which is the bomb by the way!! And start a blog...TODAY!!
I took what I learned last night watching Chris Estes speak and he asked, who wants to make $100? Everyone said "ME or I" whichever is gramatically correct for you. The challenge was to talk to 10 people and get 3 to say YES to checking out a website! And the first to do that, wins $100 And guess what I did?!?! I got to work, first 3 people I talked to said yes to the website, and I will call them later to see what they thought! And needless to say, I just got a text from Chris and I came in 2nd! DAMMIT!!! But that doesn't stop there because I am still going to talk to 10 more people today!
I could have put off tomorrow what could have been done today, but I chose to get it done TODAY! We can choose to saulk, cry, and sometimes we need to take a quick break! But don't stop!! Continue on and turn that little pity party into porsitive production. Because what it does is build momentum in your business and teaches your mind to become a little bit stronger than you were the day before!
I'm Out!
